Nana Syndee, Grandpa Bill, Auntie Larissa, and Uncle Jacob all came up from Salem to enjoy a picnic at Hoyt Arboretum (where Jake and I had our wedding reception). It was perfect. Partly shaded and cool enough that we could let Elayna play on a blanket by the picnic table. Then we went for a short hike through the arboretum grounds.
She thoroughly enjoyed playing with them... especially with Nana Syndee who is not embarrassed to get silly with her.
Yay for another amazing day. I only wish that the weekend could last one more glorious day. I am not ready to send my husband back to work tomorrow! I think that Oregonians should get sunny days off. They are like holidays! (Only slightly exaggerating)
