Who knew Target was so fun?

I feel like my kid doesn't get out enough... She was so excited to cruise around Target that you'd think we live under a rock! Haha!!

This cracked me up. She wanted the milk. Ha!

Cousins are fun!!

My beautiful sister Patti brought over my nephews Jaden (3) and Colton(just turned 3 mos) and it was so fun watching them play with Joaquin and Elayna! E and J adored Jaden and wanted to chase him around the whole time... and E is always very fascinated by the smallest of the group, Colton. I caught this picture of E and Jaden giving kisses. SO CUTE!!!!!!

We were lucky enough to have planned our library outing on a sunny day, so we drove to the park and walked to the library from there. At the library (which is quickly becoming one of Elayna's favorite places) we played trains, listened to storytime, played with the dollhouse, and read books.
It was a good day. =)

Children's Museum = Perfect Saturday Afternoon

We had SO much fun with Elayna at the Children's Museum today. She was so happy and excited to be able to run around and play with everything she saw! What a big girl she is becoming!

She loved playing in the handyman house, the treehouse room (where we caught storytime!), the Clifford the Big Red Dog room, the tunnels, and with the trickling water tub.

Elayna's 1st trip to the library!

How in the world I have waited this long to let Elayna explore the library is beyond me. I have always loved libraries... and our local one (although small and not a "city" library) has a perfectly adorable children's section.

Today I finally took E to check it out. Let's just say, she was in heaven! She loooooooves the library!

There were other little ones there (a little older than her, probably average age 2) and toys and books and art! OH MY! She ran around for an hour and a half squealing with delight. I wish I had better pictures, but since I forgot my camera, I took some on my phone for the blog. She wouldn't stay still long enough to capture a clear pic of her smiling, but let me assure you, she was happy! =)

She kept going back to this bookshelf and pointing at the sun. She was in love when I let her see it up close. Haha!

She also liked playing with the train set that they had there.

And of course she did some reading, and we checked out some books.

You can't really make out the little doll in this picture, but she carried her around for about 20 minutes... setting her in various places, squealing, and then taking her somewhere new. So funny. I named the doll Betsy, and kept asking her where Betsy wanted to go next. She loved this game. =)

All Elayna wanted for Christmas was her two front teeth!!

Instead, she got one partially in and another that lingered. Well, today her second one broke through. She is officially the proud owner of 4 front teeth (2 top, 2 bottom). She is going to look like a bunny rabbit soon! =)
